From the perspective of the editors of Sobretesis, there is a contradiction in the concept of human resources, since we do not believe that humans are resources. We value life enough to fall into that delusion. In any case, human resources are already a commonplace, almost as common as unemployment, in today's world of work and business management. All the business tools and techniques from which human resources are managed have been dealt with in various works, being this area one of those that requires more attention and demand from the workers of this site. Using the word "worker" moderates the "neoliberal" effect of the term human resources. Ultimately, it is all about motivating staff, rotating them appropriately, forming proactive work teams, planning relevant job training, maintaining an optimal work environment, avoiding drug addiction and stress in the workplace, developing good retention strategies for valuable personnel (the so-called "human talent") and overcoming resistance to change. Obviously, personnel should have been selected using quality criteria, including the application of emotional intelligence tests.
